Viktoriya Kuz is a Senior Associate at Realize 2050, where she supports utilities in developing forward-looking strategies for innovation. Her work spans topics such as climate resilience, undergrounding, wildfire mitigation, and the transition to a net-zero energy system. Combining research experience with a deep interest in climate solutions, she helps bridge technical analysis with actionable strategies for a more resilient energy future. Viktoriya has a background in energy consulting, where she supported M&A and litigation projects for electric utilities by analyzing electric generation, transmission, load, and fuel data. While at Charles River Associates, she co-authored a series of white papers examining the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on electric demand. In 2022, she collaborated on a Nature Cities journal publication, using data and statistical analysis to assess how COVID-19 influenced climate action at the city level globally. Viktoriya holds an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics and English from Georgetown University.
