Sarah Nielsen is an energy executive, strategist, and military veteran who brings a rare blend of vision and execution to the energy transition. As an Executive Director at Consumers Energy, she led a 28-person team and a $40 million budget across transportation, renewables, and innovation. Her leadership helped launch nationally recognized EV programs, scale renewable offerings, and shape the company’s strategic planning process. Previously, she advised Fortune 500 clients on innovation and transformation at Innosight and served as an environmental engineering officer in the U.S. Army. She holds dual graduate degrees from Yale in business and environmental science and remains deeply committed to the intersection of energy, strategy, and public service.
